Meet the Artist

Hannah Batkoski is a fine artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina, whose work exists at the intersection of landscape painting and interior architecture.

Raised in the hills of West Virginia, she began her creative journey studying painting before becoming captivated by the communicative power of design. After earning a BFA in graphic design, she spent more than a decade as a brand and web designer, developing a deep understanding of narrative, composition, and the ways thoughtfully designed experiences shape how we feel.

Today, she brings the disciplines of both practices to the wall. Each mural is conceived as part of a larger architectural whole: considered in relation to the room it inhabits, the stories of those who live there, and the life unfolding within it. Her work seeks not to decorate a space, but to deepen it.

Drawing from the natural world, Hannah creates immersive visual narratives marked by atmospheric depth, tonal restraint, and a quiet sense of place. Her murals invite stillness, grounding, and a renewed awareness of the beauty that exists just beyond the window.
